In Östermalms Saluhall from 1888, people in Stockholm and tourists from far and wide are inspired by the cuisine at its best.

To celebrate another 128 years with one of Stockholm’s main venues the food hall is being renovated and the original star-shaped floor plan recreated.

Until summer 2019, we can come together and rejoice in the temporary hall at Östermalmstorg.

There are many quaint little restaurants, bars and cafes – all of them an important part of our food hall’s heart and soul.

You feel the vibrant and at the same time intimate atmosphere, wandering around among the food counters and being inspired by the quality as well as supply.

Then you stop to buy some delicacies for the evening and while talking to one of the friendly traders you also get advice on how to prepare the dishes.

Dear customer, as you can see this is of course one possible scenario when visiting the food hall.
